So when my new one arrived as my old one was reaching the end of its years, I was really pleased to be trying its new incarnation. Visually it looks quite different from the old ones; slightly squatter but wider, the back panel being noticeably wider. The harness has been tweaked with more shaped shoulder pads and the chest strap is now on a plastic slider for a more accurate fit. The Hawg comes with a 3L Camelbak bladder with a 90º bend mouthpiece and an on/off switch. The waist belt remains fairly minimal compared to other packs of this size, but is now also removed easily as it's attached by Velcro to the pack. Externally it's very different with a slightly smaller front pouch but made up for with two side pockets now absolute 'must have if you must' MP3 player pocket at the top of the pack. Overall capacity is a roomy 15L - enough for pumps, spares and clothes.""Conclusion: In use it was much like the old Hawg except it sits very slightly lower, you can still jam loads of kit in it (so your friends don't have to) and if you're a bit anal about compartmentalisation you'll like it even more."Hydration Pack Care.We strongly advise that you clean your camelback reservoir after every ride as it can be an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, especially if you have been using energy drinks to aid hydration and energy. After each ride at the very least you need to rinse the bladder out with hot water and washing up liquid and then rinse out a further few times leaving it hung up to dry (make sure that you squeeze the water through the hose and nozzle). If you have left your camelback for a few days without washing it we recommend following the rinsing instructions but also filling the bag with water and adding a disinfectant tablet such as Milton, to kill off any bacteria that might have grown, and leave it overnight to soak. You can then rinse it out and hang up to dry.  A useful tip is then to rap the bladder in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer so that nothing can grow between uses. Camelback produce a special, cleaning kit that contains brushes, a drying rack and a disinfectant tablet that will make cleaning and scrubbing inside the bag all the easier. By following these steps you will stay healthy and not have to pay out for a new bladder every time you leave your energy drink in to fester for a period of time.
