Giant Expression DX W, Lady's Commuting Bike, 2011 The expression DX is designed for the needs of the commuter allowing all year riding in comfort, shielded from the worst of the roads and the weather.The  lady's open framed version is made from the same ALUXX aluminium as the gents DX, giving a reliable and responsive ride, with the advantage of the traditional, step through shape making the bike easier to get on and off, and therefore safer and more pleasant to use. The bike comes equipped with everything a commuter will need including mudguards to keep the muck and spray from your cloths and pannier racks so that you can carry all the spares and equipment that you might need for the ride to work.All the components are designed to be as uncomplicated as possible using 21 speed Shimano gears covered with a chainguard to that protect your clothes from the greasy chain. The wheels are the larger 700c size which eases the riding on the road and the narrower road tyres allow low rolling resistance whilst still providing great puncture resistance to avoid any annoying delays on the way into work.All in all the Expression is packed with conventional practicalities for both the commuter bike and the leisure cyclist giving a traditional ride with a modern twist.
