Giant Rapid 4, Straight Handlebar Road Bike, 2012

Giant Rapid 4, Straight Handlebar Road Bike, 2012

Giant Rapid 4, Straight Handlebar Road Bike, 2012 The Rapid 4 is the entry level model in Giant's straight handlebarred road bike line-up, billed by Giant as "the ultimate cross trainer" and "the perfect bike for the well rounded athlete looking to break free from the gym".What this means is that the Rapid range are compact geometry road bikes, built for sharp handling and responsive acceleration, based on the competition winning Tcr and long distance Defy , but with straight handlebars and a more upright riding position.  Despite being the lowest priced Rapid, Giant's consistent value for money means they still manage to equip this bike with some good quality, reliable Shimano components along with a few of their own parts to finish the Rapid 4 off without going over budget. Ideal for training or leisure rides where speed is good but reaching the finish line first isn't the absolute main aim. This versatile speedster gives you the comfort to tackle long road rides along with the confident, upright position for easier riding in traffic.
