Giant XTC 1 JR 20", 2011 Giant kids bike.Giant's Kids bicycles are built from the same light weight, strong aluminium and to the same quality standards as their adult mountain bikes, with child specific geometries and great looking paintwork the kids will love and reliable, easy maintenance components to keep the parents happy at the same time. The idea of the XTC Junior bikes is simply to deliver the same light weight, responsive, fast XC experience found in the adult sized XTC's, but in a smaller size for smaller riders.The 20" wheeled version suits young mountain bikers from around 5 to 8 years of age. As a rough guide the 20 inch wheels are the same size as a BMX wheel, but the XTC Junior has a much shorter wheelbase and more sloping top tube than a BMX in order to give easier and better controlled handling for smaller riders.
