dhb Merino Longsleeve Roundneck Baselayer M_190: This ultra fine merino wool is comfortable and smooth next to the skin. Sharing the same design brief as the Short Sleeved Tee, the Long Sleeve has an increased weight which falls in line with the intended time of year it's used in. The M-190 adds a little more warmth while at the same time not added to the overall bulk of the garment. The same Swiss Army knife approach has been used in that it is happy being an outer layer for commuting or mountain biking, or when required becomes a highly effective base layer. Extensive testing has taken place to insure that the merino used has a close to zero itch factor. As it can be used as a base layer all seams are flatlock stitched to avoid unsightly seam marks when removed. Merino is unique in that when wet from moisture it manages to retain a higher warmth level compared to many synthetic base layers. So whether you use this as a cut and thrust commuter piece or a layered system in winter you'll always find the right garment in your wardrobe.
